Andrew Lane Wines was originally founded by David Dickson in 1978 and named after his two sons Andrew and Lane. In 1983, Dickson won "best in show" honors as well as a blue ribbon for his Sauvignon Blanc at the prestigious Napa Town and Country Fair.

In 2002, Andrew Dickson helped to drive the release of Andrew Lane's first commercially available wine. Today, Andrew Lane wines are sold in top wine stores around the country and are also available in some of the finest restaurants in the world.
